Sew Along with Trish
Beginning on March 21, 2020
In order to participate in the Sew Along, you will need to register and pay a one time fee of $29.00
which will cover all Twelve Chapters of the Quilt and finishing instructions.
This is a large pattern booklet with detailed instructions each month.
There will be NO other fees because I will not be providing you a fabric kit.
I would like to see this as a scrap buster supplemented by any fabric you need to purchase. Which, of course, will receive a discount if purchased here. (For those who are beginner's or do not have a stash, do not worry, we can help you build your fabric selections each month for that Chapter.)
On block pick up day, you are free to take your block and work on your own, however, we will have options on sign-ups for classroom workdays reserved for this quilt only. Right now, I have reserved block pick up day as work day, once that session fills, we will add additional sessions as necessary.
When my friend showed me a photo of this quilt, I just couldn't believe it. It's my current life in fabric! Whether it speaks to where you are right now or it speaks the name of a daughter, grand-daughter, niece, sister, mother, or anyone else....I believe we can make this a fun filled year of learning or perfecting our techniques. What I am looking for here is participation! I will need someone who know hand applique to be willing to give a lesson one month, so if those who want to try that method instead of machine applique then we literally teach one another. There is so much talent and skill in our area, I would love to see some of our more experienced quilting friends step up and offer to help some of the beginner's.
This shop is based on love, kindness and community. I would like to share these things and build on them over this quilt! It will be 84" x 84" when we are done and there is a combination of all kinds of piecing, applique and embroidery this quilt.
NO ONE is left out. There are options, you do not need a fancy machine, you do not need an embroidery machine. You need an open heart and an open mind along with the desire to come together in the spirit of fellowship with other ladies to complete your project.
With that said, here is how to participate...

Here are your fabric requirements but please remember they are just a suggestions, make the changes you would like, these are just so you can see what was done in the photo.
