WEEKLY NEWS

Saturday Morning Live

Every Saturday morning at 9:00 am I will be doing a live feed via Facebook to share new products and class information.  The weekly newsletter will now be coming to your inbox on Monday each week.

In the video I speak about upcoming events as well as new products that have arrived.

I also discussed a giveaway which I will not repeat,
go to Facebook @hatcreekfabrics and watch the video.
The first person to show up and ask about it, gets it.

There is a promotion running for the month of November that is also mentioned in the video. That is a SEWING MACHINE GIVEAWAY to a deserving person who has suffered some sort of hardship during 2019.

What is a hardship? Death, divorce, health, incarceration or something that they are in
the process of overcoming!

This may be male or female, currently not have a machine or their's is not in good working
condition for whatever reason.

Maybe they don't even know how to sew but would like to learn.

Scott Fortunoff, the president of Jaftex has offered a machine to my shop that will be used to help someone in need. I have promised Scott that I will provide lessons on becoming familiar with the machine as well as how to sew a basic pillowcase. This needs to be someone within a decent driving distance from the shop,
so we are staying local because lessons are included.

Nominations will be accepted until November 30th.

** Please know: 1.) you cannot nominate yourself, 2.) nominee cannot just be looking for an additional or a travel machine. This is truly for someone who needs the machine.

2020 brings us a NEW YEAR, with ideas, new projects and a new spin on STRIP CLUB! Get fun--funky--and have a blast! Patterns for 2020 have already been selected. Here are some hints...a massive star, braids, chaos and just comfortable and casual. I can tell you we will not be doing a patriotic quilt in 2020. I will be focusing more on color theory and the color wheel. We will be diving in to a little more exploration of hues, tones, contrasts and compliments. The beauty of this is that the strips are going to be mystery to us all and that means me. There will be will multiple different colorways of strip sets. They will be placed into sacks and put in to a basket, each person will reach in a draw a bag. We will all have the same pattern, however, we will not have the same strips. I believe this will take our creativity and inspiration to new heights. What happens if you don't like your strips? Do you really not like it or can you be creative enough challenge yourself to select background and borders so that you will be surprised? Is someone in the group willing to switch with you? All good questions. Remember, I will be selecting the best possible strips I believe will work with that pattern. I have no intention of giving you something that would not quilt out beautifully. A pattern is a suggestion, a guideline. You can change, tweak and make that pattern your own.

Now most importantly, deadlines. I have to have a cut off time of 20 days prior to place the order so that means I will have to ask that everyone who wants to participate signs up in advance.

Cost: $ 44.99
