Weekly Buzz

We are leaving September behind and heading in to October and I truly do not know where the time has went.  This year as it has been a whirlwind. Being here at the shop, the time flies. I enjoy each day and meeting new people but I also am so happy when someone walks in who I haven't seen in some time.

The classes have been fun and I have enjoyed the feedback on what we have to offer.  I want to keep bringing you new and exciting workshops and events. However, I would also like to bring you a day each month where I do a demo on a technique or discuss a topic of interest along with a show n' tell. Please take a look in the list of classes below. I will be hosting a Tucker Trimmer I workshop.

I would also like to show you the world of Log Cabin's. Whether they are scrappy or planned. You will be amazed at the pattern designs that you can create. I will be having a workshop which will cover full log cabin's, half log cabins, and courthouse steps. There will also be a demo day if you can't make of of the workshops.

Be sure to take a peek at the tutorial at the bottom of the email about single fold binding for your small projects and wall hangings.  The link will take you to Jaybird Quilts and she has an excellent step by step photo tutorial. Make note of this this technique because I have a program coming in 2020 that this will be so helpful!

This is the monthly program where make a table topper.  There are two options on participating. The first Thursday evening of the month at 6:00 p.m., or the last Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Cost: $ 11.99

Whether you own it or not, it''s time to use it! It is a must have tool. The Tucker Trimmer tool was designed to help quilter?s quickly and easily trim down units that are made with triangles: half square triangle squares, quarter square triangle squares (hourglass units), and combinations of half square and quarter square triangle squares (combination units). It has multiple diagonals which allow you to align ruler guide lines with unit seam lines to quickly locate the exact center of pieced units. This makes trim down easy, precise, and perfect every time. No more figuring, or guessing, or struggling to find a center point.  Cost: $ 20.00
